SUICIDE BOMBER MITIGATION TACTICS 1 (SBMT 1)

I.M.T.T. has responded to requests and is now offering this new course of instruction. We have contracted with an instructor for this new class offering. It is designed for those who have a need to know. This course is restricted to Police, Military and Security personnel with proper clearances will be admitted. Course length; 24 hours
Law enforcement/military organizations only, private security clients only upon individual review and background review.

The course is designed for supervisors and operators who are responsible for planning and executing the mitigation of suicide bombers.

The objective of this course is to prepare the graduate to:
1. Plan for physical security/facility strategies for mitigating suicide bombers.
2. Develop shooting techniques for mitigating suicide bombers.
3. Develop defensive/offensive physical techniques for mitigating suicide bombers.

Topics covered during this course of instruction:
• History of suicide bombers
• Inside the mind of a suicide bomber
• Motivations of suicide bombers
• Suicide bombs (Improvised Explosive Devices)
• Profiles and indicators
• Physical defensive and offensive tactics
• Firearms tactics unique to mitigating suicide bombers
• Tactical simulation drills
• Tactical scenario proofing

This course is 25% classroom and 75% hands on student participation. A complete list of student equipment needs will be provided upon registration.

This course is available for export, a list of logistical and equipment support will be provided upon request of a prospective host agency.
