The course is designed for supervisors and operators who are responsible
for planning and executing the mitigation of suicide bombers.
The objective of this course is to prepare
the graduate to:
1. Plan for physical security/facility strategies for mitigating
suicide bombers.
2. Develop shooting techniques for mitigating suicide bombers.
3. Develop defensive/offensive physical techniques for mitigating
suicide bombers.

• Inside the mind of a suicide bomber
• Motivations of suicide bombers
• Suicide bombs (Improvised Explosive Devices)
• Profiles and indicators
• Physical defensive and offensive tactics
• Firearms tactics unique to mitigating suicide bombers
• Tactical simulation drills
• Tactical scenario proofing
This course is 25% classroom and 75% hands on student
participation. A complete list of student equipment needs will be
provided upon registration.
This course is available for export, a list of logistical
and equipment support will be provided upon request of a prospective
host agency.
